Glad you could make it! Well, this is it, the website for Thrums End and the Thrums End Art Studio- also known as T.E.A.S. -my studio and home. Me? My name is Polly M. Law. This site is part professional- showcasing my art- both illustration and gallery work; part personal-everything else; and possibly a bit too much gasconade. My daily bread and my utter joy is my illustration work for magazines, newspapers, books and other projects. To learn more about my illustration work, please drop by the Art page. A thumbnail history of Thrums End: I relocated to the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley of New York in 1993 after a 17 year stretch in NYC. I landed in a congenial small town, purchased a Sears kit house, a "VanDam" model built in 1928 and rechristened it 'Thrums End.' You can see the results on the Garden and House pages. The Thrums End Teapot Collection lives on the House page, I'll try to rotate the selection a few times a year. (You may have noticed the teapot theme- after all, "What would the world do without tea?" or T.E.A.S.!) Well, that's it.
